Weathering and wear
We test under two kinds of stress. Weathering exposes materials and products to controlled UV, humidity and extreme temperature cycles, from arctic cold to desert heat, to predict how coatings, plastics and composites degrade over time. Wear puts products through repeated mechanical or environmental stress, fatigue cycling, corrosion cycling, vibration, to reveal how long a part or assembly will hold up under real operating conditions.
Purpose-built testing infrastructure
Our climate testing infrastructure includes Europe's largest fixed climatic test chamber, in the port of Antwerp, built to test heavy machinery and full-scale prototypes under any climate on earth. For systems too large or too critical to move, we now also offer the world's first mobile climatic test chamber, brought directly to your site for realistic, long-term testing in your own operating environment.
