In 2012, Hilde joined Sirris as Business Development and Innovation Manager, specialised in plastics. She has built up 20 years of experience in the plastics industry, going from production and processing to final products, additives and material characteristics. Over the years she also built up an extended network of both industrial as well as academic contacts.

Hilde obtained PhD in polymer chemistry. Before she started her career with Sirris, she worked for several important multinationals.
