After obtaining his Master’s in Engineering Kurt began his career with Sirris, then known as Gieterijcentrum (Foundry Center). After years of research in the different aspects of the casting process, he became advisor in this field of expertise. Today, Kurt is also responsible for scheduling and for the proper execution of the tests in the test labs.

As an advisor Kurt has helped several Belgian foundries and their customers finding solutions to technical problems, specific for casting, and to set up innovation projects. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to visit foundries in Belgium and abroad. After 20 years of working for Sirris and 20 years of experience with casting, foundries hold no secrets from him.
