The immersion test is an accelerated test to determine how well your product can withstand the effects of moisture, water or chemical fluids.

ISO 2812-2, ASTM D870-2, ISO 2812-2, ASTM D714, ISO 4628-2
Test procedure:
Coated metal or plastic objects are immersed in a bath of demineralised water or chemical substances at a certain temperature. After immersion, the coatings are visually observed to evaluate adhesion, rust, blistering and colour changes. At the end of the test, a clear report is made with accompanying photographs of the samples.
