Accelerated corrosion test for coatings as prescribed in the Qualicoat specifications.

Test procedure:

Test panels are immersed in a bath of water, sodium chloride and hydrogen peroxide. At the end of the test, the samples are checked for corrosion, blistering and detachment.

This method is often used as a screening tool or preliminary test for rapid evaluation (48 hour test) of corrosion resistance.
