Surface resistance measurement

This test measures the electrical surface resistance/conductivity of (coated) surfaces in order to prevent e.g. electrostatic discharge. This test is often performed to evaluate anti-static coatings.

Test procedure:

The measurements take place via a parallel bridge according to the ASTM D257 standard.

The sample surfaces must be flat enough to enable performance of a correct measurement. A minimum surface area of 100 x 100 mm is required.
